Approve Webex briefing registrations from your advocate roster, and reward attendance automatically — no manual lists, no double awards.
What this integration does
UserEvidence connects your Webex organization to your UserEvidence advocacy program at two points in an event's life.
Before the event. UserEvidence checks pending registration requests against your advocate roster by email address and approves the ones it recognizes. Everyone else stays pending for the host to decide.
After the event. UserEvidence reads the Webex attendance report, matches attendees by email, and logs the activity and awards points in each advocate's profile.
- What the app writes. One thing only: it sets a pending registration to approved. It never declines a registration, never creates, reschedules or cancels a meeting, and never joins or records one. It cannot see meeting content, recordings or transcripts.
- Zero per-event effort. Nobody cross-references a registration list against the advocacy program by hand, and nobody exports or uploads attendee lists.
- No double awards. Each attendee is awarded once per event, even if the sync runs more than once.
- Revocable anytime. Your Webex administrator can revoke access in Control Hub with one click.
What this is not
Registration approval is not access control. It removes the roster lookup from the host's job; it does not decide who may attend.
- People who aren't in your advocacy program are never turned away. They stay pending until a human acts on them.
- The host can still admit anyone by hand, at any time.
- If the host leaves Webex's default approval setting in place, the mechanism is inert — everyone is admitted automatically and nobody is warned. Setting this correctly is the host's job, once per briefing; see below.
Requirements
